WeReady Labs is a Barbados-based nonprofit bringing local knowledge, trusted information and AI together to help small islands prepare for change.

We believe useful information should be easier to access, understand and contribute to. By bringing local knowledge and trusted sources together, we’re helping people better understand the coast, whether it’s part of everyday life or somewhere they’re discovering for the first time.
Our first product, Shorey, brings together beach information and shared observations to help people enjoy the coast and understand how it’s changing. Over time, its shoreline record could also support research, with appropriate methods and validation.

WeReady Labs was founded by Zario Thompson, a Barbadian with a background in digital consulting and an interest in using AI to help communities. His experience working with the Barbados Environmental Sustainability Fund (BESF) gave him a deeper understanding of climate resilience and a clearer sense of where WeReady Labs could contribute.
WeReady Labs is an NVIDIA Inception member.
