What the website uses
Our website code does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies or persistent local-storage identifiers. The Shorey prototype keeps selected beaches and demonstration votes only in page memory; refreshing the page resets them.
Hosting and third parties
The hosting platform may use necessary security or access-control cookies. External fonts, map tiles, scripts and images connect to Google Fonts, CARTO, unpkg and Unsplash. Those requests can disclose your IP address and browser information; this can occur even when no cookie is set. We do not control those providers’ independent practices. See our privacy notice.
Your browser controls
You can block or clear cookies and other site data through your browser settings. Blocking necessary hosting cookies or third-party resources may affect access, map rendering or appearance. The map includes an illustrative fallback if the mapping library cannot load.
